SKYSCRAPERS' CITY

WIND-TECH TOWER

As a sustainable skyscraper, both wind and solar energy are used to produce energy, clean the air, and cool the building down. Wind energy systems and tunnels shape both the inside and the outside of the building. While the building’s outer shell guides the wind to glide along the surface and go only in one direction with some tears on the surface to make the wind enter inside the building, the solar energy rings produce energy and create visors.

The wind corridors, which are inside the building, produce energy from the wind and clean the air. While the wind circulates in the building, the wind cools down the building. With the other little tears on the outer shell, a little amount of wind comes into the winding corridors and help the main wind to grow and make it stronger. Depending on comparing the gaining energy from the wind and the Sun, the building directs itself to its energy source. For example, if the amount of the sunlight amount is high, the building will turn itself to it like a sunflower. Choosing Shanghai as a place to make the building had to do with the average amount of the sun and rain per year which perfectly fits the needs of the building.  Ultimately, the skyscraper is used as an alternative energy research center while producing energy.
